Ethio-telecom commences SMS fundraising for Gorgora, Wonchi, Koysha projects

Addis Ababa, August 18, 2020 (FBC) –Ethio-telecom has announced the start of SMS fundraising scheme to mobilize funds for the three projects announced by Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed.

The three projects will be started in Gorgora- Amhara regional state, Wonchi- Oromia regional state, and Koysha- the Southern regional state.

According to the company, Ethiopians and friends of Ethiopia can support the projects by donating money and sending any amount via short code 333.

Last Sunday, the Prime Minister launched the ‘Dine for the Nation’ program to raise funds for the projects. The program aims to raise 3 billion birr in the next two months.

The company said it will unveil another fundraising arrangement for Ethiopians residing abroad.
