Eritrean President arrives in Sudan for an official visit

Addis Ababa, June 25, 2020 (FBC) – President of Eritrea, Isaias Afwerki has arrived in Sudan for a three day official visit today.

Minister of Eritrean Ministry of Information, Yemane Gebremeskel said President Isaias Afwerki’s visit to Sudan will focus on enhancement of bilateral ties as well as consolidation of ongoing endeavors for regional cooperation and integration.

“On the invitation of Sudan’s President of Sovereign Council, Gen. Abdel Fatah al Burhan, President Isaias Afwerki depareted to Khartoum at 10:00 AM this morning  for three day visit.”, Yemane tweeted today.

The Eritrean visiting delegation includes Foreign Minister Osman Saleh and Presidentional Advisor Yemane Gebreab.
