EPHI, WHO discuss ways to align digitalization of surveillance systems

Addis Ababa, November 21, 2023 (FBC) – Dr. Mesay Hailu, Director General of Ethiopian Public Health Institute (EPHI) and Professor Gerard Krause, World Health Organization (WHO) Headquarters Director for Department of Surveillance Systems held a meeting to discuss issues of mutual concern.

During the meeting, both sides assessed ways to strengthen, harmonize and align digitalization of surveillance as part of health emergency preparedness through collaborative surveillance.

WHO Ethiopia country mission and EPHI technical team were in attendance of the meeting, it was indicated.
