Envoy pledges to work diligently to improve Ethiopia-Luxembourg ties

Addis Ababa, October 4, 2023 (FBC) – State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Ambassador Mesganu Arga, met and discussed with Georges Ternes, Non-resident Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to Ethiopia, at his office today.

During the course of their discussion, Ambassador Mesganu talked about current national issues in Ethiopia.

As a member of the United Nations Human Rights Council from 2022 to 2024, Ambassador Mesganu hoped Luxembourg would play a positive role in issues concerning Ethiopia.

He also expressed his belief that the two sides will further strengthen their bilateral relations, specifically calling on Luxembourg to share its wide experience in the financial sector.

Ambassador Georges pledged that he would work to improve the relationship between the two countries.
