ENDF says its peacekeeping forces stamped out al-Shabaab in Somalia’s Rab Dhuure: ENDF

Addis Ababa, September 20, 2023 (FBC) – The Ethiopian National Defense Forces (ENDF) stated Wednesday that it has extirpated the al-Shabaab terror group members who were attempting to attack the ENDF peacekeeping contingent deployed in Rab Dhuure area, Somalia.

Although the terror group deployed 3 explosive-laden vehicles, 12 explosive-armed militants and more than 450 members, ENDF effectively dismantled the al-Qaeda-affiliated terror group in the area.

Moreover, ENDF confirmed that operations are being undertaken to ensure peace in the Horn of Africa region.
