ENDF chief of staff meets with Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni
Addis Ababa, July 4, 2024 (FBC) – The Chief of Staff of the Ethiopian National Defense Forces (ENDF), Field Marshal Birhanu Jula, noted that in addition to their strong strategic relations, Ethiopia and Uganda have a significant role in establishing peace and security in the Eastern Africa region.
ENDF chief of staff Field Marshal Berhanu made this statement during his meeting with Ugandan President Yoweri K. Museveni in Kampala.
Field Marshal Berhanu explained that in addition to their strong strategic relations, Ethiopia and Uganda have a significant role in establishing peace and security in the region.
He pointed out that the cooperation between the two countries in the field of defense is very important.
President Museveni, on his part, said that Uganda and Ethiopia are countries with bilateral relations and friendship that have crossed the ages.
He also pointed out that the countries should continue their joint role and cooperation in the field of defense and peace in the region to benefit the Horn of African region and Africa.
