Embassy organizes ‘500 million seedlings in a day’ tree planting program in Djibouti

Addis Ababa, July 17, 2023 (FBC) – The Ethiopian community and the entire embassy staff along with community representatives of Djibouti joined the 500 Million Seedling in 1 Day movement in Djibouti.

The seedling planting ceremony was graced by the presence of Dr. Beriso Amelo, CEO of ESL, Kebede Abera, the deputy head of mission and Djibouti’s Green Bridged, and its head Fahima Mohammed.

Representatives from Ethiopian organizations based in Djibouti have also participated in the tree planting session organized by the Embassy in honor of the Green Legacy Initiative.
