Embassy, IOM Djibouti facilitate repatriation of 66 Ethiopians

Addis Ababa, March 8, 2023 (FBC) – The Ethiopian Embassy in Djibouti in cooperation with IOM office in Djibouti have facilitated the successful repatriation of 66 Ethiopians from Djibouti.

The 66 vulnerable Ethiopian migrants have returned home via train, the Embassy said. Among the migrants, 57 had entered Djibouti with the intention of crossing into the Arabian Peninsula but were abandoned by smugglers, the Embassy further indicated.
