Embassy in Djibouti facilitates repatriation of 160 Ethiopian migrants

Addis Ababa, January 26, 2023 (FBC) – The Ethiopian Embassy in Djibouti confirmed that it has facilitated the successful repatriation of 160 vulnerable Ethiopian migrants.

Ethiopian Ambassador to Djibouti, Berhanu Tsegaye, confirmed on twitter that the Embassy has successfully repatriated the vulnerable Ethiopian migrants in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Djibouti.

Of the returnees, according to the Ambassador, 32 were under 18 years of age and 23 were women, some of whom had given birth or were expecting during their perilous journey.
