EIC, Woda Industrial Park hold an investment promotion event in Tokyo

Addis Ababa, October 5, 2022 (FBC) – The Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC) and Woda Industrial Park, the newly launched private industrial park in the outskirts of Addis Ababa, have jointly held an investment promotion event in Tokyo.

Japanese and international Investors that are engaged in agro-processing, printing, pharmaceutical, energy, electronics and financial sectors are invited and presented with the opportunities in Ethiopian IPs.

In the event, both B2G and B2B discussions were held with companies that are keen to assess Ethiopian business and investment opportunities.

Deputy Commissioner of EIC, Daniel Teressa explained investment opportunities, incentives packages, policy and legal reforms on the investment climate and doing business to create conducive and favorable investment operation.

Furthermore, the Ethiopian delegates thoroughly discussed with the JETRO representatives on strategies to promote business and investment opportunities in Ethiopia and encourage the Japanese companies to invest in Ethiopia.
