EIC welcomes Algerian pharmaceutical firms’ investment plan in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, February 29, 2024 (FBC) – The Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC) hosted delegates from Algerian pharmaceutical company TOP Gloves and DIAGNOPHARM. During the meeting, discussions were held regarding potential investments in Ethiopia’s pharmaceutical sector.

EIC Deputy Commissioner Zeleke Temesgen offered detailed insights into the opportunities available in the sector and relevant policies to the representatives from the Algerian pharmaceutical companies.

Deputy Commissioner Zeleke extended his appreciation for the companies’ keen interest in investing in Ethiopia’s pharmaceutical sector and assured them of comprehensive support from the Commission.

The Algerian companies’ delegates further engaged in discussions with various stakeholders and conducted a visit to Kilinto Industrial Park in the outskirts of Addis Ababa.
