EIC team on a European tour to promote Ethiopia’s investment opportunities

Addis Ababa, November 24, 2023 (FBC) – A team of Ethiopian Investment Commission led by Commissioner Lelise Nembe is on a European tour, engaging with over 20 anchor companies to showcase untapped investment opportunities in the thriving agro-processing sector in Ethiopia.

“Agriculture is the backbone of our economy, and we’re ready to amplify its impact,” Commissioner Lelise Nember underscored.

The Commissioner invited the companies to invest and unlock the potentials of Ethiopia’s agriculture sector particularly in the production of fruit, oilseed, livestock, dairy, and cereal processing.

Investing in Ethiopia’s agricultural sector is connecting with one of the world’s largest markets, according to EIC.
