EIC reiterates Ethiopia’s commitment to improve investment climate towards increasing FDI inflow

Addis Ababa, December 13, 2022 (FBC) – The Government of Ethiopia has been undertraining a wide range of activities to create favorable investment climate for foreign companies interested to tap burgeoning opportunities in the country.

Revised proclamation has been put in place and in-depth deliberations are being held with members of the diplomatic community based in Addis Ababa to discuss ways to improve the investment climate.

With regard to this, the leadership of the Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC) met with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Ethiopia, Stefan Thijs to discuss issues of strengthening investment partnerships and working jointly to promote opportunities in Ethiopia.

On the occasion, Commissioner Lelise Neme reiterated the commitment of the Ethiopian government to improve the investment climate to increase the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) inflow.
