EIC, MFA and IPDC hold investment updating session to Ethiopian diplomats
Addis Ababa January 2, 2023 (FBC) – The Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC) jointly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA Ethiopia) and Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDC) organized an investment updating session to the Ethiopian Diplomats, the Commission’s statement on social media confirmed.
The event, according to EIC, also aims at the establishment of a workable communication platform and strategies to promote the country’s investment potential and attract an increased FDI inflow to Ethiopia.
The Diplomats visited two companies located in Bole Lemi Industrial Park and are updated with abreast of investment priority sectors and legal reforms undertaken by the Commission, EIC’s post further confirmed.
It is indicated that the training and tour program is set to showcases the country’s enormous investment potential and is part of the recently launched EXPO2023 by Debre-Birhan City Administration in collaboration with marketing, promotion and media firms,
The EXPO2023 initiated and obtained an international expo permit from the Ethiopian Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration and is an official invitation to the international investment EXPO2023.
It is restated on the occasion that from 12 to 22 January 2023, along with national and global partners, the city administration will run the 1st edition of Debre-Birhan International Investment, Trade and Finance EXPO2023.
The event is expected to form global platform for the promotion of investment and trade opportunity by the government institutions, public enterprises and leading investors from countries worldwide.
Debre-Birhan EXPO2023 has been designed to develop new selling areas, global public private-partnership projects and matchmaking (B2B) between international companies for co-production and co-financing.
