EIC delegation visits CCCT in Beijing

Addis Ababa, May 20, 2023 (FBC) -Ethiopian Investment Commission, investment promotion delegation led by Temesgen Tilahun, Deputy Commissioner of Ethiopian Investment Commission visited China’s Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles(CCCT).

Deputy Commissioner of EIC and vice chairman of CCCT Zhang Xinmin raised matters of mutual interest and agreed to rebuild and lead partnership initiatives between the two institutions based on the EIC-CCCT cooperation MoU signed in 2016.

Both sides stressed the need to develop a joint plan of action in facilitating business and investment relations in textile and apparel between the two countries.

Established in 1988, CCCT represents and coordinates over 12,000 companies whose investment and trade volumes account for 70% of the Chinese textile import and export business.
