ECX, Ministry of Mines and Petroleum sign cooperation agreement

Addis Ababa, May 7, 2021 (FBC) –The Ethiopia Commodity Exchange (ECX) and the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to work together.

The agreement was signed here today by Engineer Takele Uma, Minister of Mines and Petroleum and Ermias Eshetu, Chief Executive Officer of ECX.

It aims to better facilitate international trade of gemstones by enhancing supply, reducing illegal trade and creating sustainability, it was noted.
