Economic cooperation with the U.S. helps Ethiopia unlock its potential: Ambassador

Addis Ababa, October 24, 2024 (FBC) – Demeke Mekonnen, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Ethiopia, today (24 October), received at his office, Ervin J. Massinga, the new Ambassador of the United States of America to Ethiopia.

Deputy Prime Minister Demeke and Ambassador Massinga exchanged views on bilateral and regional issues of common interest.

In welcoming Ambassador Massinga, Demeke said that the Ministry would provide him with the necessary support to deepen ties between the two countries.

Ambassador Masinga, on his part, said economic cooperation with the U.S. helps Ethiopia unlock its potential.
