ECDD unveils toll free mobile service for people with disabilities in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, February 3, 3021 (FBC) – Ethiopian Center for Disability and Development (ECDD) in partnership with United Nations Fund for Population Activities (UNFPA) and Ethio Telecom has unveiled toll free mobile application called Minch for people with disabilities in the country.

The application is aimed to provide adolescents and young people with disabilities in Ethiopia with alternative toll free source of information including SRH matters.

Minch 6768 toll free platform will have also an importance to connect persons with disabilities and others through an information channel related to disability related issues, it is indicated.

Representatives from Ethio Telecom, UNFPA, ECDD and development partners attended the launching event held in Addis Ababa yesterday.
