Eastern Corporation expresses desire to engage in Mfg sector in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, September 22, 2023 (FBC) – Eastern Corporation, a company with extensive experience in the construction sector in the United States, expressed its desire to engage in the manufacturing sector in Ethiopia.

The Corporation expressed its interest in a meeting between IPDC Chief of Staff Mr. Fitsum Ketema, and the CEO of the American Eastern Corporation, David Ham and his delegation.

During the meeting, Mr. Fitsum appreciated American Eastern Corporation’s interest in investing in Kilinto Industrial Park.

Mr. Fitsum mentioned that the corporation is working on reforms to increase the flow of foreign investment in the industrial parks.

He further mentioned that IPDC is working on reforms to increase the flow of foreign investment in the industrial parks, assuring that the necessary support will continue to be strengthened so that the Eastern Corporation can start its operation soon in Ethiopia.

Eastern Corporation CEO, David Ham, on his part, stated that his company plans to expand its experience in the construction of houses in the United States to Ethiopia, and announced that it plans to make its own mark in the sector by investing in Kilinto Industrial Park.
