East Gojam Zone offers free education opportunity to 10,000 students from TPLF-ravaged areas
Ababa, September 20, 2021 (FBC) – East Gojam Zone Administration announced preparations to enroll 10,000 students from various areas of the Amhara region affected by terrorist TPLF atrocities.
It is to be recalled that the terrorist TPLF group deprived thousands of children from schools as it deliberately destroyed institutions and left nearly a million people in catastrophic social and economic situation.
Chief Administrator of East Gojam Zone, Abrham Ayalew said the students will be enrolled to schools found in 26 rural and urban districts across the zone.
Beneficiaries include those who lost their parents in TPLF atrocities, whose parents are not capable of educating in other areas due to economic loss by the aggression, and schools in their areas of resident are fully destroyed by the attacks of the renegade group, he indicated.
