Djibouti vows enhanced cooperation with Ethiopia in trade, regional integration
Addis Ababa, February 26, 2021 (FBC) – Chairman of Djibouti International Free Trade Zone Aboubaker Omar Hadi affirmed commitment of his country to further cooperation with Ethiopia in trade and regional integration.
While attending reception of 150 trucks assembled in Djibouti that are procured by Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics Service Enterprise, the chairman highlighted the role of Ethiopian Shipping and Logistic Enterprise to facilitate maritime transportation and trade in the region.
These trucks which are tailored for delivery of bulk commodities are said crucial to boost the capacity of the Djibouti-Ethiopia corridor and facilitate the flow of goods between the two countries, according to the chairman.
“I am pleased to attend the reception ceremony of 150 new trucks imported by leading maritime shipping operator Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics Service Enterprise.”, he added.
