Displaced People Complain over Shortage of Humanitarian Supplies

Addis Ababa, October 28, 2021 (FBC) – People displaced from Chifra of Afar region have expressed dissatisfaction with the shortage of food items and other basic supplies.

The people were displaced due to the military attacks of Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) in Chifra.

Sheltered in camps in that same region, they have now demanded for having immediately enough access to humanitarian supplies until they get back to their previous dwellings after the prevalence of peace in the locality.

Reports show that hundreds of thousands of people are displaced in Afar, Amhara and Tigray regions, in different localities, due to the ongoing war between the Ethiopian government and TPLF.
