Discussions with negotiators are key to advancing Ethiopia’s WTO accession talks

Addis Ababa, December 10, 2024 (FMC) – A senior government delegation is actively engaged in preparations for international trade negotiations.

In anticipation of the 5th Working Group Meeting, officials have conducted productive discussions with trade negotiators from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand, and the European Union.

According to information from the Customs Commission, these talks are anticipated to aid in Ethiopia’s ongoing negotiations for accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO).
