Deputy PM Temesgen arrives in Bahir Dar

Addis Ababa, February 12, 2024 (FBC) – The new Deputy Prime Minister of Ethiopia Mr. Temesgen Truneh has arrived this morning in Bahr Dar, capital of Amhara regional state.

Upon arrival at the Bahir Dar Dejazmach Belay Zeleke Airport, Deputy PM Temesgen was greeted by the chief administrator of Amhara region, Mr. Arega Kebede, senior officials of the region, elders and religious leaders.

It is his first visit to Amhara region since his appointment as the Deputy Prime Minister last week. Note that Mr. Temesgen has led Amhara region as chief administrator from 22 July 2019 to 8 November 2020.
