Deputy PM and FM Demeke arrives in New York to attend 76th UN General Assembly

Addis Ababa, September 21, 2021 (FBC) – The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Demeke Mekonnen and his delegation have arrived at New York, US to attend the 76th General Assembly of the United Nations (UN).

The 76th UN General Assembly will be held under the theme “Building Resilience through hope to recover from COVID-19, rebuild sustainably, respond to the needs of the planet, respect the rights of people, and revitalise the United Nations.”

Spokesperson of Foreign Affairs Ministry, Ambassador Dina Mufti, among others, are included in the Ethiopian delegation that travelled to New York to attend the general assembly.
