Danish Development Cooperation Minister visits food security projects in Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa, January 24, 2022 (FBC) – Denmark’s Minister of Development Cooperation, Dan Jørgensen has visited activities of food security projects implemented in Addis Ababa city.

Deputy Mayor of Addis Ababa, Jantirar Abay, World Bank Ethiopia Country Director, Ousmane Dione and other high level government and WB officials were in attendance of the visit.

The Danish Minister held discussion with Ethiopian Finance Minister Ahmed Shede on the ongoing economic cooperation between Ethiopia and Denmark and current affairs of the two countries.

Ministry of Finance Ahmed Shede briefed the Ambassador on the comprehensive development efforts being carried out in the country after the peace agreement, the activities carried out in the restoration, rehabilitation and the second homegrown economic reform, MoF stated.
