Daguru-Galamo asphalt road project, part of Ethiopia-Djbiouti transport corridor commenced

Addis Ababa, February 22, 2022 (FBC) – The Daguru-Galamo asphalt road which is a part of the Ethiopia-Djibouti transport corridor has been commenced in the presence of high level officials of Djibouti and and Ambassador of Ethiopia to Djibouti.

The road to be constructed as per the partnership between Governments of Djibouti and Saudi Arabia is said to have enhance the transport and logistics service in the Ethiopia-Djibouti import-expert corridor.

The road project to be financed by the Saudi Fund for Development will be carried out China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC).

Prime Minister of Djibouti, Abdulkadir Kamil Hamad, the Transport Minister Hassen Humud Ibrahim, Saudi Ambassador to Djibouti, and Ethiopian Ambassador to Djibouti Birhanu Tsegaye has attended the launching ceremony.
