Custom Commission to go paperless to modernize service

Addis Ababa, September 9, 2020 (FBC) – Custom Commission announced a plan to go paperless through commencement digital electronic service so as to ensure fast and up-to-date system in the sector.

Commissioner of the Custom Commission, Debele Kabeta has briefed media today on activities underway to launch the electronic system as of the New Ethiopian Year.

The Commission has undertaken a wide range of institutional reform activities over the last two years, the Commissioner said.

In partnership with various stakeholders, the Commission has stepped forward to back its service delivery with technological advancements.

The digital Custom service to be unveiled soon will ensure ingenuity and accountability among the employees, the Commissioner added.
