Culture & Sports Minister observes preparation of athletes ahead of Paris Olympics

Addis Ababa, July 22 2024 (FBC) – Minister of Culture and Sports, Ms. Shewit Shanka, visited the Ethiopian athletics team at the National Sports Academy in the capital this morning where the athletes are expediting preparations ahead of the Paris Olympic Games.

During her visit, Ms. Shewit reminded the athletes of Ethiopia’s celebrated mentality of champions at the global stage.

She expressed confidence that the current team members participating in the Paris Olympics Games can make history through victory and heroism.

The Minister expressed confidence and her best wishes, stating that the Ethiopian team will return with victory and success, making their people proud as ever.

Ms. Shewit emphasized that athletes play the biggest role in building the image of Ethiopia, highlighting the country’s reputation for teamwork and sportsmanship at different stages.
