CPC pledges to maintain stronger Ethiopia-China relations
Addis Ababa, October 28, 2024 (FBC) – The Communist Party of China (CPC) has reaffirmed its commitment to working towards in maintaining the strong friendship between Ethiopia and China that has endured for ages.
This pledge was made during a meeting between an Ethiopian delegation led by Vice President of the Prosperity Party (PP), Mr. Adem Farah, and Vice Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, Mr. Li Mingxiang.
The meeting aimed to strengthen party-to-party, government-to-government, and people-to-people relations between the two countries.
On the occasion, Mr. Adem emphasized that Ethiopia and China have a long-standing history and have established an all-weather strategic partnership.
He highlighted the activities and achievements of the Ethiopian government in addressing key issues, as well as the capacity-building and reform efforts being carried out by the Prosperity Party and the benefits being achieved..
Mr. Adem also confirmed that the party-to-party relationship between the PP and the CPC has been strengthened through the exchange of experiences, education and training, and other capacity-building support.
He stated that the Prosperity Party is ready to continue working together with the CPC in the future.
In response, Mr. Li Mingxiang reaffirmed that his party would work towards maintaining the strong friendship between Ethiopia and China that has endured for several years. He added that the longstanding cooperation between the two parties has also strengthened government-to-government relations.
This meeting is a testament to the strong bond between Ethiopia and China, and the commitment of both parties to further strengthen their relationship in the future.
