COVID 19 death toll reaches 770 in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, August 30, 2020 (FBC) – The number of COVID 19 deaths in Ethiopia have reached 770 including 12 fatalities reported on Saturday.

The Ministry of Health also confirmed 1,514 new cases yesterday from 19,194 laboratory tests conducted till the report was issued.

Number of recoveries in the country also stood at 18,116 after the ministry reported 701 recoveries yesterday.

There are currently 30,766 active coronavirus cases of which 329 are in severe condition.

The country has so far conducted 869,430 laboratory tests over the past months.
