Council of Ministers approves 786.6 billion birr draft budget
Addis Ababa, June 3, 2022 (FBC) – During its 9th ordinary session held today, the Council of Ministers approved today a 786.61 billion birr draft budget for the coming 2022/2023 fiscal year, which begins on July 8.
The goals included in the 10 year national perspective plan, peace and security, rehabilitation of IDPs, reconstruction of damaged infrastructure and future socio economic transformation endeavors are put into consideration on the approval of the budget, it is indicated.
The budget approved by the Council has increased by 111.94 billion birr or 16.59pct compared to previous fiscal year.
