Contesting ONLF Reaffirms Solidarity with New State Government

Addis Ababa, October 19, 2021 (FBC) – The long time armed group in the region, Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF), congratulates Mustefe Mohammed for his election as President of Ethiopian Somali State.

Laying arms to peaceful political struggle, after the 2018 reforms in Ethiopia, with the coming into Premiership of Abiy Ahmed, ONLF now has expressed solidarity to work with the new Somali Regional State Government.

ONLF has thus reaffirmed its commitment to effectively contribute share in developing the region.
