Construction of over $160m Gore-Masha-Tepi road project commences
Addis Ababa, December 21, 2019 (FBC) –The construction of the 140.2-km Gore-Masha-Tepi asphalt road project has been launched today in the presence of federal and regional state officials.
The project to be built at a cost of $160 million connects three regions each other, namely the Southern, Oromia and Gambella regional states, according to the Ethiopian Roads Authority (ERA).
The construction of the road will be undertaken by the Korean real estate development and construction company, Hyundai Development Company, it said.
Susong Engineering and the local firm, Net Consult Consulting Engineers are consultants of the project.
The construction of the road project is expected to take four and a half years, the authority added.
