Congressman John Garamendi appreciates achivements in Ethiopia 

Addis Ababa, July 22, 2023 (FBC) – Ambassador Mesganu Arga, State Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, held a discussion with Congressman John Garamendi and Co-Chair of the Ethiopia-America Caucus, at the United States Capitol.  

Ambassador Mesganu thanked Congressman Garamendi for his continued friendship to the People and Government of Ethiopia and briefed him on the progress in the implementation of the Pretoria Peace Agreement, peace consolidation works and the need to support post-conflict recovery and rehabilitation efforts in Ethiopia.

They also exchanged views on national, regional and international issues of common concerns. 

Garamendi appreciated the tremendous achievements in Ethiopia and promised to remain a strong advocate for the revitalization of the strategic partnership between Ethiopia and the United States of America.
