Commission wins Strengthening IPA Advocacy Services 2021 Awards

Addis Ababa, October 21, 2021 (FBC) – Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC) has won Strengthening Investment Promotion Agencies (IPA) Advocacy Services 2021 Awards.

The Commission won the award offered by World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) in partnership with World Bank Group (WBG) for its contributions to a resilient recovery and growth of the private sector.

The award is given to the commission at the ongoing World Investment Conference being held alongside the UNCTAD World Investment Forum in Geneva, Switzerland. 

Addressing the award, Investment Commissioner Lelise Neme said that Ethiopia has approved a new investment proclamation and put in place various initiatives to create a conducive investment climate in the country.
