City terminates contract with investors on 90 ha of leased lands

Addis Ababa, November 21, 2022 (FBC) – Addis Ababa City Land Development Management Bureau announced termination of contract with investors who fenced off 90 hectare of leased lands without any progress.

Kenea Yadeta (PhD), Head of the Bureau, stated that administrative measures have been taken against investors who failed to make progress on enclosed lands allotted for various services.

Kenea stated that bottlenecks related to theft and land garbing in land development and management sectors have been well identified and the city administration has set a direction to root out the problems.
