City admin. to begin door-to-door survey to identify COVID-19 infections
Addis Ababa, April 11, 2020 (FBC) – The Addis Ababa city administration has announced plans to begin door-to-door survey to identify coronavirus (COVID-19) infected patients.
Engineer Takele Uma, Deputy Mayor of Addis Ababa, told journalists today that the enquiry will be conducted beginning from next week in all woredas (districts) of the city.
According to Takele, the city administration had recalled retired and experienced doctors to conduct the survey.
He further stated that close to 1,200 food banks were established to provide aid to people who are in need of help due to COVID-19 outbreak.
