Chinese First Lady donates COVID 19 prevention items to Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, August 10, 2020 (FBC) – Chinese First Lady, Peng Liyuan has donated COVID 19 prevention items, face masks and thermometers to Ethiopia.

The chinese first lady has extended the donation specially to the office of her Ethiopian counterpart, Zinash Tayachew in support of the fight against the pandemic in the country.

The items donated by the Chinese First Lacy include 18,000 face masks and 120 infrared thermometers.

It is to be recalled that a team of 12 Chinese medical experts, including specialists in infectious diseases, respiratory and critical care, and public health, arrived in Addis Ababa on April 16, 2020 and assisted Ethiopia in its fight against COVID-19.
