China to hold 3rd China-Africa Peace and Security Forum

Addis Ababa, August 28, 2023 (FBC) – China will hold the third China-Africa Peace and Security Forum from today August 28 to September 2, the country’s defense ministry said on Sunday.

The forum aims to enhance strategic communication between the defense departments of China and African countries and play an active role in building a China-Africa community with a shared future in the new era, the ministry said in a statement.

CGTN reports that China State Councilor and Minister of National Defense Li Shangfu will deliver a keynote speech at the forum.
