China Chamber of Commerce Ethiopia donates medical supplies worth 20m Birr to Eka Kotebe Hospital
Addis Ababa, April 28, 2021 (FBC) – China Chamber of Commerce in Ethiopia has donated medical supplies worth 20 Million Birr to Eka Kotebe General Hospital.
While receiving the supplies, the Health State Minister Alemtsehay Pawlos said “the donation is very important and timely as the country is battling with the pandemic which is growing very rapidly.”
She extended gratitude to the government of china and the chamber of commerce for the donation.
Chairperson of China Chamber of Commerce in Ethiopia, Wen Yingzheng the donation has been made in support of Ethiopia’s efforts to contain the pandemic pledging continued support till the virus is well combated.
Medical Director of Eka Kotebe General Hospital, Dr. Yared Agidew to his part said the supplies secured from the chamber of commerce will play a crucial role in addressing shortage of equipment posed by an increasing admission of COVID 19 patients to the facility.
