Chegoma-Gashena road project commences with an outlay of 1.4Bn Birr

Addis Ababa, February 1, 2021 (FBC) – The Chegoma-Gashena Asphalt Concrete Road Project has been commenced today in North Wollo Zone of Amhara Regional State.

The road to be constructed with an outlay of 1.4 Billion Birr covers 44.7 Kilo meters.

High ranking federal and regional government officials have presided over the commencement of the project which is expected to be completed within three years.

Chegoma-Gashena Road project is believed to accelerate socio-economic growth in the region.
