India’s Chandigarh University keen to enhance cooperation with peer institutions in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, December 7, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopian Ambassador to India, Demeke Atnafu visited Chandigarh University and met Prof Devinder Singh, Vice Chancellor and Prof. Rajan Sharma, Director of International Affairs, and other officials of the institution.

The two have explored potential areas of cooperation between Chandigarh University and Ethiopian higher institutions in areas such as twining programs, joint research program, faculty exchange, student exchange program and others.

Further, they also reviewed the status of the MoU Chandigarh University signed with three peer institutions in Ethiopia; Wolaita Sodo University, Bahir Dar University and Bule Hora University, and agreed to work together for their effective implementation.

The University expressed interest to deepen cooperation with peer institutions in Ethiopia in various fields.
