CEOs of Djibouti Telecom, Sudatel visit Ethio Telecom’s Experience Center
A delegation led by the CEOs of Djibouti Telecom and Sudatel Telecommunication Group recently visited Ethio Telecom’s Experience Center at the Adwa Victory Memorial Museum, where they were welcomed by the CEO of Ethio telecom, Ms. Frehiwot Tamru.
During the visit, Ms. Frehiwot highlighted her company’s extensive technological journey and presented various digital solutions, including smart agriculture, education, health, mining, and smart tourism.
In response, the delegation expressed admiration for Ethio telecom’s commitment to digital solutions and the substantial infrastructure capacity it has developed. They noted that Ethio telecom serves as an exemplary role model for many African operators in the telecommunications sector.
Furthermore, they praised the Experience Center’s potential which they believe significantly contributes to Africa’s digital transformation by fostering innovation and improving the digital ecosystem across the continent.
The CEOs acknowledged Ethio telecom’s leadership in advancing Africa’s digital landscape and its dedication to fostering an inclusive digital future.
It is worth noting that Ethio Telecom, Djibouti Telecom, and Sudatel Telecommunication Group have signed a partnership agreement yesterday for the launch of the Horizon Fiber Initiative, a visionary project aimed at establishing a high-capacity terrestrial fiber optic network connecting Africa with Europe, Asia, and the rest of the world. This transformative partnership is set to revolutionize regional and global connectivity by delivering faster, more reliable, and resilient communication services.
