CBE collects over 100bn Birr in deposit accounts through CBE Noor service

Addis Ababa, December 23, 2023 (FBC) – The Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) confirmed that it has collected more than 100 billion birr in deposit accounts through CBE Noor banking services in the last 10 years.

The Bank celebrated the 10th anniversary of the start of interest free banking service (CBE Noor) in Jimma city.

According to Nuri Hussain, Vice President of Interest-Free Banking Services at Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, CBE Noor service has 6.5 million customers in the last 10 years.
