Calyx Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals desirous to invest in Kilinto IP

Addis Ababa, August 11, 2023 (FBC) – Calyx Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals, an Indian giant company that supplies 60% of the world’s malaria and tuberculosis drug ingredients, expressed its desire to manufacture in the pharmaceutical sector at Kilinto Industrial Park.

Industrial Parks Development Corporation CEO, Aklilu Tadesse received the representatives of the company in his office and discussed with them.

During the discussion, the company’s representatives presented the company’s detailed proposal for the investment to the CEO.

The CEO appreciated the investment proposal raised by the company and assured that IPDC will provide full support for the immediate realization of the investment and invited the representatives to visit Kilinto Industrial Park.

Based in India, the company produces 60% of the world’s ingredients used for malaria and tuberculosis drugs, and the world’s largest drug manufacturers are receiving the ingredients they need for their production from this company.
