Brazil and Ethiopia seeking to expand bilateral ties

Addis Ababa February 25, 2023 (FBC) – State Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia Ambassador Mesganu Arega has met with Jandyre Ferreira Dos Santos, Ambassador of Brazil to Ethiopia.

According to MFA, the two sides discussed on bilateral and multilateral matters of mutual concern.

During the conversation, Ambassador Mesganu Arega, stated that Ethiopia places a high value on its relationship with Brazil.

He said Ethiopia is committed to strengthening its south-south cooperation, which should have reasonable representation in international political and financial institutions

Brazil, according to Ambassador Jandyre Ferreira Dos Santos, is seeking to expand bilateral relations in political, cultural, economic, and sports diplomacy.

Both parties committed to work together on areas of mutual interest in the global arena, MFA stated.
