Bishoftu town finalizes preparation for tomorrow’s Hora Arsedi Irrecha festival

Addis Ababa, October 2, 2021 (FBC) – Mayor of Bishoftu town Alemtsehay announced finalization of preparations for Hora Arsedi Irrecha festival it is hosting tomorrow.

Hundreds of thousands of people from Addis Ababa, the surroundings and several parts of Oromia region and the nation at large gathered in Bishoftu to attend the Hora Arsedi Irrecha which is a festival of thanksgiving among the Oromo people.

Mayor Alemtsehay said all the necessary arrangements have been undertaken to help preserve traditional values of the the festival during the celebration.
