Belarus plans to supply over 3,000 tractors and 80 combine harvesters to Zimbabwe
Addis Ababa, January 31, 2024 (FBC) – The delivery will take place in the near future as part of the third phase of the mechanization program for Zimbabwean farms, Belarusian Industry Minister Alexander Rogozhnik said during a meeting with his Zimbabwean counterpart Dr. Sithembiso Nyoni in Minsk.
The previous delivery of 1,800 tractors and 80 combine harvesters has contributed to ensure food security in Zimbabwe.
Dr. Nyoni, for her part, confirmed the mutual interest in further expanding practical cooperation and creating a solid basis for long-term partnership between the two countries.
Belarus has been systematically developing relations with Zimbabwe and other African countries with a focus on achieving high results and reaching a new level of bilateral cooperation, Sputnik reported.
