Beijing Foreign Studies University graduates first batch of Amharic Department students

Addis Ababa, June 28, 2024 (FBC) – Representatives of the Ethiopian Embassy participated in the Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) inauguration ceremony 2024.

BFSU is the only university in China that offers an Amharic Language Department, and the first batch of students from this department was among today’s graduates.

The Embassy commended BFSU for providing Amharic language studies, saying this is will contribute to strengthen the people-to-people relations between the two countries.

A delegation to be led by Jia Dezhong (PhD), Vice President of BFSU is set to pay a working visit to Ethiopia on July 1, 2024.
